Mold Remediation Costs
Although we are not currently doing Mold Remediation, most mold remediation costs an average of $3,000. Most homeowners pay somewhere between $1,373 and $5,325. Small-scale mold remediation projects (such as a small colony in the bathroom) average around $458, while the average cost for large-scale mold remediation is $6,333.
Note: Prices usually increase based on demand, especially after a major water event such as flooding, hurricanes, etc. Currently prices are changing very quickly due to hurricane damages. We recommend contracting a Florida licensed mold remediation contractor for exact pricing as soon as possible after you receive your Mold Assessment Report.
Mold Inspection Timing
Depending on when the samples are mailed out, the resulting report can take anywhere from 2 to 3 days. Samples mailed out on Friday will not be evaluated until the following Monday / Tuesday. Our laboratory guarantees same day service, once they receive the samples. We do have to mail the samples so tests taken later in the day will typically not make the next day delivery and as such will take 48 hours for results to return.
Mold Remediation Timing
Although we are not currentl doing Mold Remediation, remediation can take some time as it is a process of demolition and removal of the mold. Depending on the size and extent of the work it can take anywhere from a couple days to several weeks. In addition, during times of severe destruction such as a hurricane, the Remediation contractors can be so busy that it could be weeks before they can even get to your needs.
Again we suggest you speak with a Florida licensed mold remediation contrator for exact availability and timing as soon as you recieve your Mold Assessment Report.
